frequently asked questions
Q: Do you design ads, logos, and graphics?
A: No. At 25 Hours Consulting, we specialize in content marketing (aka written content and copy), and how to best lay that out on your website. Communicating your message with precision and creativity is what we focus on. Though we can offer limited creative input and basic design assistance when it comes to graphics, we aren't graphic designers or web developers and prefer to utilize the graphics and artwork clients already have. However, we work closely with esteemed professionals who provide such services, so if you don't have an art director or graphic designer we would be happy to refer you to any of our trusted associates and manage the project for you. Not only will it take the pressure off of you while we communicate and coordinate your wants and needs, but our partners will collaborate with us throughout the entire process, so you won't lose the feeling of having a hands-on experience.
Q: What's the difference between content marketing, advertising, and PR?
A: It basically comes down to the approach and the activities that are used to increase a company's exposure. This Demand Media article on Small Business at Chron.com explains it pretty well. Advertising and Public Relations generally take a larger-scale approach to conveying information to the general public. Advertising usually encompasses paid media based on market research, while Public Relations typically highlights a company's achievements in the community to create a positive brand image. Content marketing, however, is "the art of communicating with your customers and prospects without selling," to quote the Content Marketing Institute. It's an educational approach tailored to customer retention through the delivery of relevant and useful information. In a world where people can fast-forward through commercials and otherwise ignore mainstream advertising, one could see why content marketing has never been more important.
Q: Why hire you? What sets you apart?
A: We're a boutique content marketing firm, so we help businesses of all sizes (including businesses of one) build their brand and increase their exposure for a fraction of the cost of large agencies. Our senior-level marketing expertise allows you to focus on what you do best, while we take care of how you appear to your audience. We'll get it done fast and we'll treat you like a friend — not a number. Our personalized, strategic approach means that we'll translate your ideas into content which will be effectively consumed in today's digital market. We're also objective: since we're not a part of your company, there's no bias. You get the advantage of our strictly professional — not preferential — opinion.
Q: How can my small business benefit from outsourced marketing?
A: Effective content marketing is designed to not only attract (and retain) new business, but to position you as a thought leader in your area of expertise. This increases your exposure, enhances your credibility, and improves your reputation. Content marketing makes your business more inviting to your clients, and it adds personality to your brand. Today's consumers are most likely to give you repeat business and refer you to their friends if you keep them engaged with quality content and ensure a great end-to-end customer experience.
Q: Can't you just teach me how to do my own marketing?
A: While we do offer one-time content review and analysis of your existing content, that service is aimed solely at making recommendations that we feel would improve the quality of the work, not necessarily the strategy and execution behind it. Many times we'll hear business owners say they're not good at writing or they don't understand the digital marketing world, and that's where we come in. We take over the things that might not come naturally to all business owners so that the job gets done better and in less time than if they were to do it themselves. Throughout the consultation process, you will receive advice and tips that you can certainly put to good use in the future but, for the most part, that advice is explanatory of our process.
Q: How are payments handled?
A: For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), and we also have the ability to use PayPal and Venmo. Transactions are secured through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, with 128-bit encryption. For more information on PayPal's security standards, click here. We can accept deposits and payments electronically or by check, or we can take mobile payments during in-person consultations through our secure application. Checks should be made payable to 25 Hours Consulting, LLC and mailed to PO Box 725 in Marlton, NJ 08053. We can generate invoices electronically or hard-copy, depending on the details of your contract, and receipts are available upon request.
